That is a really nice trailer there Timber...
Heck, your old one looks good to me...
I am refurbishing an older trailer of my dad and it is like your old one...
Nothing wrong with it but not nearly as nice as your new one...
The old trailer belongs to my dads, He has a B610 with a dedicated Back Scratcher. It is a landscape trailer and kind of light duty for my equipment. I am so happy I was able to find a new Deck Over for what I paid. It was posted on Cregslist 8 hours before I saw it at 3 am they day I went to look it over and bought it.

Nice trailer. If it were me I would take it and get it weighed when you pick it up, if your truck hasn't been weighed would be a good idea to get it done empty also. This way you'll know all your empty axle weights and empty tongue weight, it can give you a better idea of position when loading equipment.

That is a great idea, infact I can do it at the business right next door to me. They have a cat scale in their yard. I'll do that on Monday after I pick it up.

I picked up a 6000 pound winch today over at harbor freight I was pretty pleased with that. I also grabbed 4 chain binders, 2 ratchet and 2 standard binders.

Do you have a use in mind for the winch or is it just for those unplanned times something needs pulled on the trailer?

Sounds like you will be set up very well.

The primary use will be on the trailer but I will put it on a Reciever mount plate so I can use it on my tractor and pickups as well.

Good idea using the receiver plate.

Maybe I cannot tell from your photos but that trailer looks like a dovetail to me. A beavertail would have the angled rear outside frame with an inset deck that would lift to level out the deck. Nice trailer though.

Well it's home. I'll post some more pictures later, looks like I have plenty of room on the tung for my job box. I am very pleased

So a beaver tail pops up to continue the flat deck? Learned something new today, I always thought the terms where interchangeable.

$3195
Dang.. How do you guys get nice trailers that cheap!! I doubt I could buy the parts for that. Gatormades are even more than that here.

Nice looking trailer!

You better not read the new thread I just started titled "Got a nice deal on a tandem dual trailer" or you'll croak.

My job box will fit perfect behind the spare tire with a 1/2 inch to spare. I am so pleased with this trailer.

That is a long a-frame on that trailer. Good for your box but adds to the length. Most are only about 4' to the ball.

The trailer was a custom build for a mud racing jeep that was to wide for a low deck between the wheels. The longer frame that can accommodate a full size job box works out very well for me. The added length doesn't affect me at all personally and only makes it easier to chase when I back it up.

You have a beaver tail, the beaver tail refers to the slope deck at the end of the trailer for loading equipment. A fixed beaver tail can also be referred to as a dove tail but it most commonly referred to as a beaver tail.
Perhaps it is a regional thing but I see Xfaxman's trailer to be a true beavertail. No matter, as long as everyone is happy right?
