And look at that impressive torque rise...wow. I bet you were happy to pay a premium for that turbo at your high elevation.
Compare the fuel economy to the Boomer, since LS doesn't publish it.

Runs very well at 8000 ft elevation, fuel burn seems to be thrifty imo. Best part I just sent in the last payment today.:cool2:

That's a pretty silly failure of logic. You (collectively) started saying that D and K offer "higher quality" components, so several of us asked how you know that. We (collectively) never said that LS or Kioti offer equal or better quality components. In short, if you're the one claiming something is better, or higher quality, the burden is on you, not the other way around. Just because you have a list of components you think are better doesn't mean anything. YOU show us where you've compared them to the others out there, and determined they were better. Enjoy your homework.

Your logic is really loopy. Why are all of the sudden trying to bring Kioti into the equation here? The debate is between LS, Kubota and John Deere; not Kioti. Sorry, I provided the information. The burden of proof now rests on your doorstep, unless you just cannot do it; then in that case I accept your surrender!

Why Kubota?

Time for a 5085M fully decked out. I think the 5xxxM's are the best utility tractor on the planet, well except for the 6xxxM.
Of course, I don't expect nor require everyone to agree with me.

You mean 6R's are the best :) Just teasing, wish I could have either

While I would like to have 6000 R series transporting and size would be a problem. I am looking in to a 5115M as about the largest I can utilize with my present setup. Quite a few of the jobs are smaller acreages but with machine control auto leveling (laser) I am planning on using an 8' towable scraper box. I am also looking to speed up tillage too. Researching the larger tillers and pull type disks, haven't decided which way to go yet.

I have also given consideration to a Deere 210 LJ landscape loader, while the loader and hitch looks real good the pto seems weak. Anyone have any lengthy experience with the 210 LE and LJ models?

Not in a rush to commit yet as I am crunching the numbers trying to decide if it is worthwhile to do this.

You inferred in your first post that they were equally quality because everything besides price was the same.

Untrue. My first post talked about basic performance specs, nothing more.

From there on we've listed the higher quality components. You refuse to believe they are, and with a still minuscule list. You demand that we go out and do research on the superior components, give you a list and then it's got to have the inferior components as well. You just keep trying to inch your way away. Why don't you show us these comparable components on your LS? Using EVERYTHING that I, Arlen, and Eagle have stated prove to us where all these features are within your LS.

Really? You're going to try changing history now? You started out with the whole "superior engineering" comments, then shifted to "better ergonomics", then jumped on to Arlen and Eagle's "higher quality" components comments.

Regardless, if you're the one claiming better engineering, or higher quality, it's up to you to show what the difference is. I didn't say LS, or Kioti, were better quality, or equal quality. I just said I haven't seen where anybody can PROVE that Deere or Kioti are using better parts, or better engineering, as an absolute (meaning, more than just one a little detail here or there).

Also I looked on NH's website and saw nothing about planetary drives. Show us where LS (not NH) has them, and just because NH has them, they could manufacture them differently, so I want to see literature where LS has them. And don't try and tell me to do it, your turn Bart.

First off, like learning to use the "quote" function when addressing me (I'm at least being decent enough to address you directly), you may want to brush up those internet search skills. NH has inboard planetary drives listed below, and you can find the same on the Case/IH site. Oh, it's also possible to find the parts manuals showing that they're all the same.

Messick's has a parts diagram showing the Farmall 50b and NH Boomer 50 rear axle assemblies (you'll have to close the popup, then select rear axle assembly to see the diagram).

(FARMALL 50B) - COMPACT TRACTOR (11/11-)
(BOOMER 50) - COMPACT TRACTOR (9/10-)

You can then go to the link below for LS parts, scroll down to about page 90, and you'll see the same diagram of the LS setup....same as the NH, and Farmall 50b units.

I am in engineering but I don't wish to discuss my work on a forum.

For the observant, this is a way of saying that you're not actually an engineer, but you're "in engineering".....
