Have these things all over my property.
Is that a tarantula? My wife would refuse to go outside if we had those here!
I believe they are a type of wolf spider here in Tennessee. They love shaded, wooded areas and we will see several a day. I used to leave my boots on the steps outside until I found a small version of this spider in one of them.
Is this good enough for you??

OK, yeah, that's a huge spider!
Your little lizzard buddy is cute though.![]()
That's pretty cool! Most of the critters & I get along pretty well. Cardinals will almost eat out of your hand. Cotton Tails will stop & listen if talked to. Had 1 step on my foot trying to get in the garden. Have a couple of doves that come by for chit chat or ?? Horn toads like to have there sides rubbed.

Remind me not to live in AZ![]()
We may have rattle snakes here - but I've never seen one. Biggest problem around here is Copperhead, and I've killed a number of those.
That's quit the herd of doves hanging out there!
To me a copper head would be worse.
Those are the doves I call the "spoiled bunch". 2 Or 3 of them come & stare at me until I put seeds out for them.
About 30 feet farther out is where the vulture Doves eat, some where between 30 & 50 of them. They sit in a tree about 50 feet away, then attack when I put seeds out.
Bird seed attracts rodents, rodents attract snakes......
That's the way it works around here.
If I had Mojave rattlers here, I would not have any feed about. I don't keep any seed or grain. It just causes problems...I have plenty of birds around.
