I mow about 6 acres in about an hour with lots of trees and shrub with my Ferris. It can mow at speeds up to 9.8 MPH when ground conditions allow

I'm still trying to figure out how you are mowing 6 acres in 1 hour.
Most of the mowing charts look about like this one from Exmark.
80% efficiency is about the best you can do with turns and overlap . 80% efficiance at full speed of 9.5 MPH with a 52" deck is still only 3.99 acres. And this does not account for you slowing down to mow around your trees and shrubs.

According to the chart, even with my 72" deck I would need to average over 10 MPH to cut 6 acres in a hour.

I like BX with MMM and LDR. I bought a Husqvana 0-turn 54in cut new for $2600,all it can do is cut grass. I could find lots of little chores for the BX instead of my back. Whats the BX and ZERO turn cost?

So I've been researching Zero Turn and tractor mowers for awhile now. I had decided on a ZD326 Kubota. Nice machine.

However... Everytime I visit the dealer... The BX tractors call to me. And the I think I should buy a B2620! Because it's better than the BX! So I'm I really stuck.

I will be finish mowing 7 acres a week. That's the machines main use. Property is mostly flat but does have a couple banks and a low area that can be wet at time (grassy ditch). Plenty of trees, sidewalks, gardens, etc.

I have a L3830 with loader. But I thought having a BX with loader would be mighty handy. And a backhoe would be even better! Lol! And a B2620 has a bigger loader and hoe! See where this goes?! Lol!

Here's some pics of the machines in question. I really like the looks of the BX with mower. It's just cool.

Any suggestions on what to get? Thank u!!!

Running out of time so haven't read pages 2 and 3 but get a Kubota F mower for that much mowing. Barlows has a F2680e 2wd and maybe a 72" front deck mower with only 15 hours on the mower and maybe 150 on the F. around 10 or 11 thousand. I previously owned the F and currently own the 72" deck for a few more days, maybe. Call Barlows.

Are you selling your F3060 72" back to Barlows?

If money were no object I would buy one. I'd like to have a 4wd. Lol

I own property in three locations and therefore have 3 tractors: On the most distant place from where I live, I haul whichever tractor, L245, B2320, or BX2660, I think will do the job well. On the two remaining places, I have a tractor that usually stays there unless needed elsewhere. The B2320 has loader and R4 tires, along with 60" MMM. It does a great job mowing if you don't mind some turf scuffing. The BX2660 does not currently have a loader, though I intend to remedy that, but has 60" MMM, turf tires, and absolutely the best stock seat I have encountered on any mowing device. When it comes to a pure mowing comparison between the B2320 and the BX2660, the BX turns sharper unless you use the brakes, and its footprint is shorter, giving it a slight edge. If the B2320 had an adjustable seat, with back support and comfort of the BX2660 seat, it would be my favorite compact tractor of all time, and I would give it a slight edge for most other jobs I have used both tractors for. Good luck in your decision!

I am selling one F3080 to Barlows for credit toward another new one (saves me $800 ) but that's if the buyer shows up Saturday from NC and wants it for sure. The F3080 I'm selling has 111 hours and is a couple of months older than 3 years. The potential buyer wants a 60" deck so my 72" new side discharge deck will go on Barlows for sale F2680e 2wd with 125 hours and the 60" on it will go on the F3080 going to NC. That's the plan.:)

I have a Bx2200 with a 1000 hrs on it and it is going strong. the 60" MMM mower is built to last. still the original belt on the deck. I have mowed down hay fields with it. blown snow for years and helped dig a basement with it once. the only thing that it hasn't done well is working in the woods getting firewood. To little ground clearance. Just my two cents

Hi and welcome to the forum. There's a bunch of us here with similar experiences. Although my BX25 is fairly new I had a BX 2200 for 11 years before that. They are great machines and underestimated performers until you've owned one.
