Yes. My experience is that they negotiate even more, because when you are ordering, you can go to any dealer to get the exact same vehicle. We normally order ours as well, and I can easily buy for a couple hundred bucks under invoice.

I paid $750 under invoice and kept $5500 in rebates when I ordered my ecoboost in 2011. Ordering is definitely the way to go. Ordered my last two trucks exactly how I wanted them. Plus you know that nobody has run the piss out of them before you get it and you can tell the dealer to not put their stickers on it.

I got lucky and found a truck like I wanted on a lot.

If you order a F-150 now it will be a 2014 and you will have to wait til December, it has been that was since July.

Same experience. Only time I see real deals on lot vehicle's is when the next model year is sitting next to it.

To me buying a one year old vehicle brand new is a crap shoot, even if it's 20% cheaper. If you keep it greater than 5 years you will be ok but if you trade every two its a wash or worse.

Latest 0-60 test towing 5000 lb trailer. I wish they would have also tested the ecoboost because it may be quicker than the 6.2 ford.

I had to verify and it is true, the 3:55 has a higher tow rating than the 3:73 in the Ram.

Would have liked two runs with each truck as well.

1.5 seconds faster on the second try, was he going down hill. The Ford and Ram should got a second chance. The Ram sounded like it was geared really high in 1st gear.

My 2011 6.2 GMC "recommended" 93 octane but whenever you'd try to run 87 or 89 in it you'd get spark knock and performance suffered greatly. I got tired of paying MORE for 93 or sometimes equal to what diesel cost so I got rid of it. My truck averaged 15-17 for the most part.

Never had a spark knock on my 2011 or my 2013 GMC 6.2's no matter what grade of gas I ran/run..80+% of the time it was/is 87 octane.

I have very similar gas mileage results.

It may have had to do with the quality of the gas in your area and ethanol content.
