with her twin propeller brooms
Faster and faster they went,
whizzing past goblins and ghosts
none could catch up
to our pilot we did toast!

and promptly got drunk and fell out of the sky.

I'm not much of a drinker but I'd like to try it sometime. Even if I have to mix it a hundred to one with gingerale...

Working very hard at balance right now, alcohol isn't the answer. But I'll take a rain check.

Good Morning. 1030, sunny, 55* with 72% humidity. Forecast high has been bumped up to 70* with no chance of rain. It was 48* at daylight when I went to sit in my shooting house. I know that isn't as cold as further north, but I about froze the two hours I was out. All I saw was two very small does, but I was holding out for a buck. I had a heck of a time trying to run them off so they wouldn't see me coming out of the shooting house. I made noise to scare them away, and they just came over to see what it was. If the cleaning wouldn't have made me late for work, I would have shot one of them just for being so curious. But in the end, I had to get back home, so I just came out. They ran off then, and I saw them crossing the pasture as I came out of the longleaf pines. I hope a young buck will be that curious in the days to come.
