Drew and Nadene, may your blessings continue in your journey. You both are always in my thoughts and prayers. Buppies, hope your surgery was successful and this is just a short detour in the road.

It's a beautiful 55 F morning here with rain predicted later. There's certainly no rain in the sky now as the only thing pouring into my open door is morning sunlight.

Tonight is our annual VFD barbecue. Because my immune system is weakened by my chemo treatments, it's not wise for me to go and be around that big crowd of people, but my wife and grandson will go and take my donation check and bring back a to-go box for me. I have two VFDs that respond to fires in this area and I donate to both. Of course, I hope they never pay me back for those donations.

good morning. Thanks Ron and others. nadene is coming home Monday, maybe sooner, into hospice.
End of a long wonderful life. And that's all I'm going to say about that, this is just not the place.
But talking here is a wonderful mental/emotional distraction for me and reminds me that the world sure goes on.
I want to hear about all those grand kids getting born, the circle of life continuing. The first frost on the pumpkin.
The last snow melting in the Spring. And the fields being planted again.

It's the circle of life. I told Lynn a few years back that we had our time, now it's for the next generation. Prayers for you guys, and tell Nadine we are thinking of her.
