Found this engine decal after looking under the hood. I'll sure be looking a lot more carefully if/when conducting business with this dealer. At this point I've asked for a NEW unit or cancel the deal.

Bought my Kubota used from a guy who bought it off the lot, used it, and said something came up and he had to get rid of it. It had 3.9 hours on it when I unloaded it at my new house. By the time it had 19 hours on it I had mowed the 2 acre lawn 3 times, bush hogged an acre, and tilled a 1/4 acre of garden.

I would be discussing the high hours with the Dealer. Probably one of the first questions would be, if you sold me a new tractor, who did you let put the 19+ hours on it before you delivered it to me?

Pull the air cleaner element out and look for a date stamped on it. Also check the battery, there is usually some sort of date on them also. If both of those are manufactured this year it is probably at least a 2013 tractor.

hope that first set of digits doesn't mean it was built on November 17th of 2010 ??

Sure looks that way, doesn't it?

Sometimes i am very happy to have old used tractors, because-

If those #s are date codes- it makes you wonder about people-

he ordered the tractor, ( Most people that order want it set up a particular way AND a new factory fresh machine ) PERIOD

and since many of these Name Brand tractors - cost as much as new cars, an ordered one should not come off a dealers lot or be a machine produced years earlier and if it does, it should be disclosed BEFORE the new owner signs off...
AND since the owner requested the build sheet ( for a new build) when he signed the purchase order something seems out of place here
If that isn't a date code, and this machine is BRAND NEW my apologies- to John Deere and their dealers...

One more thing, that tractor should have tier 4 decals and associated emmissions equipment RIGHT?? otherwise HOW can it be a tractor built very recently
