I'd be tempted to try to negotiate a very deep discount and ensure the warranty start date is date of contract.

2010 tractors didn't have any type of emission standards applied and to me that is worth quite a bit.

But it would have to be a very deep discount.

Just curious. Is the 3320 a popular model? If so, why would a dealer keep it in inventory for so long?

Some regions sell truckloads. Some sit for years. 19 hours over three years starts to sound like "the red-headed stepchild". Always in the way. Nobody wants it. Hard to say if it was a demo gone bad, or just racked up those hours getting shuffled around the lot. Any way you slice it, three years old and 19 hours should represent a large discount. I would have refused delivery (yeah I know how excited you were to finally get it).

Call your JD area Rep. Get them involved pronto. Better yet I'd walk away. That's a bad situation.

The sales guy sent an email saying he explained the situation to his boss. Said to use the tractor until a new unit can be delivered. They will deliver the new unit and switch the loader from the 2010 model to the new one. When I talked to him this morning, he was clearly embarrassed about the situation.

I will make sure this one has the equipment I ordered and is a NEW unit. Would it be unreasonable for me to ask for a tech manual, fill the tires or receive rear-wheel weights, oils/filters & grease for 50 hour service, or ??? Anything else you would ask for?

My 3520 had .5 hours on it when I received it. sure sounds to me like this thing was on a lot somewhere and your dealer just dealer traded for it. I ordered mine because I didn't want a machine that had been sitting outside.

What did they do drive the tractor from one dealer to the other, mine had only .7 hours on it

I bought my Kubota L4400 a little over two years ago. I personally saw the Techs assemble the Tractor and run the tests. There was .2 - 2 tenths of an hour on the meter.

I'm not sure if the deeres are like the kubotas but thats about halfway to a very expensive all inclusive oil change and filter swap. I'd ask them to either throw in the materials or meet you half way. $Filters alone for the 50 hour break in were $75 for that tractor your probably looking at a few hundred dollars in oil. I had $290 in trans fluid alone for my 50 hour service plus engine and gear oil for the front axle

I think it would be a fair request to load the tires or do a 50hr service on the house for your inconvenience. And worst they could do is say no.

That's great that they are coming through with a new tractor for you. I'd think that a service manual or a set of filters are probably pretty low cost items they may be happy to throw in to boost your satisfaction. Certainly wouldn't hurt to ask for a little something.
