The OP is getting a Fram filter that works for his tractor, but I bet Fram doesn't make Kubota filters.

Of all the services you have done that gave left your shop with a fram filter, how many came back with engine troubles? None is my guess?

The bought Champion labs, things are improving.

You are correct. I do about 100 oil changes per year and better than 1/2 are with Fram filters. Not one single issue in 20 years.

USAF recommends changing the oil on tractors only every 400 hours, or 6 months. And their tractors are usually used 24/7 by at least 3 different guys or gals each day. So to change every 100 hours is excessive in my professional opinion.
The AF likely uses them on asphalt or concrete surfaces most of the time so it may be quite different from using in a dusty field. Running 24/7 is also much better for an engine than running 10 minute intervals which may not burn out any water from the oil.
I do agree that every hundred hours is wasting a lot of our precious resources. The manufacturers guidelines will for sure be on the low side of oil changes to account for the varied circumstances with the tractors overall. Some folks could likely go 500 hours with no problems while the super duty users might be only good for 250.
Changing more frequently than required only wastes money and resources and doesn't gain any more life span for the equipment.

Why would it have the same part number if not made by Fram? Each manufacturer has his own part numbers.

I have taken many Fram filters off and when you shake them you can hear an feel the filter element rattle. That stamped steel spring probably flatted out and the filter is doing nothing. I have never had this problem with a Napa Gold/ Wix.

It's amazing with all the lab reports on oil filters revealing the media area, media capacity, media flow, media efficiency and general internal construction.
How many people change the oil long before it is required on modern clean burning unleaded and low sulphur fuelled engines. Costing many dollars, $40-$80 per change.Yet they can't afford $5 extra for a filter that doesn't bypass dirty oil or pass high micron sized dirt?

Here's something I learned from a Subaru tech when I took my Forester in for some little recalls things: Subaru, and I would presume others, are switching over to larger oil capacity systems (2 gallons?) and twin filters, with changes called for every two years or 20,000 miles. They figure that this uses less resources overall, and saves money.

On my truck, I change the oil about every 5,000 miles. For my tractors, I like to do all of them in the spring. It has nothing to do with hours, but just making sure everything is ready to use when I need them. I also worry that sitting outside all winter long and after using them over the summer, that it's better to start off the year fresh.

I've never had any issues with Fram, but now I have a commercial account with ABC Auto and just go there and buy Wix filters for oil and hydraulics.

you do realize not all fram are built the same. there are distinct differences in material and construction between levels.
