Very nice work. Why is there two separate cylinders/sections? I don't know anything about this type of grapple.

On the larger grapples, it is advantageous to have 2 lids to better pickup loads that are bigger on one end than the other. Think of perhaps a tree stump, one lid can close on the larger end, and the other on the smaller end. Or perhaps a rock that is unbalanced.

Thanks! With it being 72" long it's Able to clamp on loads across the grapple. Both work on the same valve but once one hits whatever material your carrying then the other will continue on until it hits and pressure is applied to both equally giving it more Stability.
