Can't speak about the snow plow but I bought their tooth bar.......excellent product....well made....easy to install....good folks to deal with.:thumbsup:

Save your money. I have purchased the bucket expander ring, BH dolly, quick on forks, quick on bucket hooks, and quick on trailer receiver and now the 72" snow plow with orange paint and skid shoes. Was quite happy with the over priced items until the huge bucks I wasted on this plow. I'm back to using my Tractor Supply 60 inch back blade and front bucket. If you just plow straight it would probably work fine. I found if I plowed on a curve my blade slid over and I was off the tractor unhooking readjusting and hooking back up again. Wishing I had that money back......I had also considered the EMP blade, better price but unless you have a heated garage the ratchet straps freeze up and can be a pain to take off when frozen. However the ratchet straps would not allow the slippage that I experienced with the bxpanded. For what it's worth.....

Tighten the binder properly and this doesn't happen. I found I had to adjust the mounting plate to the other hole to get the blade properly tight. Had a bit of sliding around like you did until I made the adjustment.

Granted I have only used mine a few times, but it's rock solid. If it moves around IMO either the binder isn't tight enough or you have the front chain too loose, which can I think could cause to much float of the plow, depending on how the bucket is adjusted, and possible cause the binder to loosen. I have been really rough on it trying to see if it will stay put, and the only time it popped off was when I was doing some scraping, and I lazily put it on (knowing it wasn't as tight as in the past).

I agree the shipping/packing is poor. I had no damage, but there needs to be stronger corners, etc when shipping heavy items. They can't slide and move around in the box otherwise the boxes will get destroyed.

First, thanks for the response, I forgot to thank the first guy. I'm glad yours works for you as well. Mine has never popped off just slid all the way to the side of the bucket after having to hammer fist the clamp closed. ( I would have thought that was tight.) Buyers remorse, you bet, here's why. I have uneven gravel and ground, thus the $85 shoe kit. I also have some concrete thus the $65 abrasion resistant cutting edge. So yes tilting my bucket/blade as well as having to turn all the time due to tight quarters makes this set up problematic. Oddly enough except for having to look backwards I never should have tried to one up my previous set up. 60" back blade with front bucket expanded can get me and most of my neighbors cleared in just a few hours. *Note* paid more for the bucket expander than the back blade. Both get used but the blade is on all year. The expander ring is just for picking up bulky not heavy loads, i.e. leaves, weeds from the lake and snow. For tight areas bucket straight up. With plow attached, not only is this set up longer, when I lift my bucket straight up (for tight turning areas) it makes the tractor even more tippy. I may find use for this plow when it comes time to grade the road. It seems heavy enough to stand up to the task and it will be used on longer and much straighter runs. Wish I could have used it on that last grade of the year the night before the deep freeze when I spent 3 hrs facing backwards. Paid $50 extra for orange paint and didn't want to scratch it all up but now thinking it's that or scrap. As for customer service I am officially done with bxpanded. Hadn't had a problem with any of the many purchases over the last 4 years but when I did.... lip service in place of customer service. Finally no service. His prices are too high for him to disregard a complaint. What would he care I have already purchased much of what he sells. While it would be relatively easy enough to fabricate a fix, for what I paid, I shouldn't have to. Also I knew it would add length just underestimated how much effect it would have on maneuverability and stability. Again buyers remorse. I couldn't in good conscience recommend this item. The only remorse on the BX25 is I should have bought it when I first started looking at it when it was a BX23. Love my baby bota!

Sounds like you are running the bucket expander and the plow at the same time?

I Wish That Was The Case. I Was Hoping To Try This After A Successful Plow But Now Know There Is No Need.
