Congratulations Jesse! Sounds like you have more than enough to keep you busy. You and Red Horse have some great vintage trucks.

Congratulations Tony!!!

My cousin retired a few decades ago and was into restoring antique cars while he worked as a hobby. After he retired, he had more time to spend on his cars, and to make room for new projects, he started selling some of the ones he had already finished. This has turned into a business that makes a lot more money for him then when he worked!!!!

Good luck and have fun. I'm looking forward to pictures of your new truck project.

Eddie

Congrats, I retired in '07 and threw away my watch the same day & never worn one since.....the thing was like casting off a ball and chain.

No regrets in retiring, still it's an odd feeling to leave a place where you spent so many years of your life. I'll go back out there next Tuesday for my retirement party and eat some pizza and cake, then be escorted back through the gate where they take my pass. Now I can stop worrying about being burned from acid, steam, condensate, chlorinated by-products and caustic soda. Or falling down stairs and having to climb distillation columns or up in piperacks. No more permits to fill out or having to do lockout/tagouts for maintenance work. Not going to miss that at all.

My job is very similar...power plant. Good part is no more shift work after 20 yrs... CONGRATS!, I've got 12 more years....

Congratulations, wish you many years of enjoyable retirement. I know what you are talking about with shift work and you've paid your dues and it's now time to do what you want to do. Good luck, enjoy it!
