QA Loader Frame Latch Pin Safey Modification

No worries. It's not purty. It's a chain box. Built it from some old metal shelving that was in the iron pile. Welded a short piece of 1 1/2" angle iron to my loader frame for it to sit on. then welded a couple bots to the frame and screwed a nut on each bolt, then sat the box on the angle and ran the bolts thru two holes and added another nut on each. Drilled some large holes in the bottom so it wouldn't hold water. Best thing about it is the location. Soon as I step off the tractor, chains are right there.

Here's some pics as well as one of everything it'll hold. Measurements are 12"Lx7"Wx9"H.

Thanks for the pictures, I'm going to have to make something like that for mine. You can't have too much storage space! With all those chains and hitch pins there is still room for a miller lite, sounds perfect for me! Lol.

Okay two great mods to do... the spring pin is brilliant! :thumbsup: A box for my chains is definitely needed. I will have to think on this one... not much room on a BX.

Come on Guys,,,,, any professional knows you don't store beverages in a chain box. That's what the cooler rack is for!!!! Carry my lunch there on days at the farm. As well as a couple beers buried in the ice in the bottom!!!
