Brandi, good luck getting Rebecca into a nice place of her own. Let's hope she finds the perfect place for her. Of course we homeowners know that the initial price is just scratchin' the surface. Everything from the roof, to pipes and electrical can have a huge impact later down the line. Heck, making sure she has a good AC system before closing on the house could save her big-time. It's always the little stuff that adds up.

Your right Jim. Pre purchase inspections on everything is important. Short term insurance on air and heat systems going out is definite. I told her to get lost income insurance added to the loan also.
hugs, Brandi

For you Texans upset with the cold weather, here's a site I ran across that forecasts the next 3 to 9 months in both temperature and rainfall. Rainfall looks normal but prospects are for an above average temperature for most of the next 8 months. Farmgirl will be happy.

I love the heat and love the cold better. However, it's high humidity along with high hot or very cold weather that I don't like.

So far today, we got 1.5 inches of rain. The island pond will be full later tonight, as there is a lot of runoff going into it.
hugs, Brandi

Y'all will have the bluebonnets before you know it.

Yes Bob, all will be good in Texas. Another 3" of rain in last two days. We should begin spring with good ground moisture.

Rick.

From another tread we are looking for a good source of Velveeta seed to overcome the perceived shortage.

Just returned from quick business trip to Mexico DF. Sitting on the back patio at the ranch with a great cigar, some Jack Daniels and 63 degrees at almost 20 PM. Life is great!

You know life is good when a neighbor comes over just to check on your wife,, Too make sure there is nothing they can do to make things better.. Then sets and have a few drinks on the patio while listing to some old country classic,, I don't mind sharing a bottle of good scotch with a neighbor,, especially since he brought it.. Hey,, I'm just a nice guy.:). Lou

It is misting here, and rain is predicted. I love rain, when we have these warmer temps!

55* and variable light to moderate rain. Looks like it will "train" over us for a few hours. I'm betting we will get some runoff even if it is less than .50, the ground here is pretty moist and decent run-off from the "ice storm" too.

Thinking I will get the flu shot, I have only ever had one, but since it's free.....Another death here from the flu, a married father here in Wise county, I believe that is 22 deaths directly attributed to the flu virus in a 4 county area.
