What kind of clamp is that with the threaded hole, and can I find one? Looks like a good design for mounting onto the cross brace. Eye bolt looks good.
Thanks for the photos.

Do you find the convex mirror difficult to use? I mounted mine a few days ago and thought it was difficult to use. Maybe just not used to convex??

I have not started the tractor yet to see how the vibration will be?? I mounted mine with a flat bracket to the bolt securing the cross brace..a few inches from where yours is.

Cold up north today?

It's called a Split Ring Hanger. You find them in the plumbing section of Lowes, Home Depot etc...

Here is a link to the one I bought at Lowes... Just remember what I learned which is the 1" split ring actually has a 1 1/4" INSIDE diameter which is what the diameter of the cross brace on my tractor is.

Yeah, the convex mirror takes a little getting used to, but for making sure nothing is behind you before you back up, it serves my purpose. That being said, if I found a regular mirror in the same price range, I'd likely change to that. I have very little if any vibration with this setup.

Very cold and snowing like crazy in NH today. 12"-18" of snow between today and tomorrow (Friday) morning. Lots of seat time on the Kubota tomorrow morning! :)

I am looking forward to tomorrow's seat time, shoud be fun. Thanks for the link for the bracket.

I was thinking of going to a flat mirrow and adding a small convex to the outside of the mirror. But not mounted on the mirror glass as
they usually are. Taking a flat braket and gluing the mirror on one end of it, and gluing the other end of the bracket behind the
back of the mirror. so they will be seperate and they will both offer full view. I think auto zone had a real nice rect./ flat view mirror of good quality. Lowes
has a $2 retangular blind spot mirror which is real nice. May be trying this next.

I'm looking forward to some pictures of what you do... :)

Also, while moving snow this morning I paid close attention to the vibration... or lack there of. It was virtually non-existent... Very happy with it so far.
Good Luck!

I will post photos when I get it right. Had one of the Auto zone convex on today and was not happy with the mirror. Don't know if vibration was the
issue or if I have a bad mirror??

I am going to try another style and see what works best.

My loader control valve was frozen again this morning...cold day issue. Have you had this problem on your tractor?

Thanks for all of your help.

I used two 8-1/2 convex mirrors, stainless steel fame, glass mirror. Purchased fom Amazon.

I finally found the right size clamp. The "bar" is 1 1/4" diameter so you would think the 1 1/4" clamp would work. Not so... turned out the 1" clamps inside diameter is actually 1 1/4". Weird, but now I know.

No vibration with this setup either...

That's because those clamps are made for hanging iron pipe, and iron pipe is referred to by its nominal size, so 1" iron pipe is slightly more than 1-1/4" OD (1.315"), and 1-1/4" pipe is roughly 1-5/8" OD (1.660").

Where did you mount your mirrors? Much vibration?
Are they round and do you find the convex difficult to use?
Do you remeber the brand or price?

This has to be the easiest mod to my tractor. Neck problems don't allow me to turn to look behind me so I picked these up at Advanced Auto for $10 each. I just bolted them into the holes on the loader supports. Best 20 bucks spent.

Hey Tom

Mounting on the loader arm like that, does it interfere with the arm when u raise bucket up high? I have similar situation on my Kioti and I'd love to add mirrors :cool2:

No not at all. Im also not having any vibration issues that some speak of. I think the closer the mirror is to the mount the better
