FYI - I just spoke with Agco & Holmes Murphy regarding the insurance. They base it off a percentage of the purchase price. For example, on a purchase of around $31,500, the quoted me about $10/mo which covers practically anything you break (not maintenance or mechanical problems) ... but the caveat is a $500 deductible! Ouch. Can't imagine many things costing more than $500, even a glass door!

I wonder how much commercial insurance is?

Too bad USAA doesn't offer commercial coverage as I'll need to head off of the reservation to get coverage. Anybody have any tips to share on getting commercial insurance?

Also, does anybody know if the front loader and 3 point offer a float option?

The Prices Pages for the 1405, 1545, and 1550 Front Dozer Blades show compatible in the February 2014 Price Book. They do require an extra bracket kit to convert to the new 1700 Premium Series COmpacts.

Perhaps I've got my terminology wrong: I want the ability to be able to mount a snowblower on the three point that can follow uneven driveways and such.

That's called draft control. It's an option on the Massey units, it does come standard on some of the other brands, like LS, Kioti, TYM...etc

If you want to follow the contour with an implement like snow blower the standard 3 point hitch only lifts the implement (No down pressure) so it will "float" along the surface just like a box blade or blade will follow the contour because there is no down pressure. Some three points offer a slotted lift links that allow more movement.

Draft Control is more for ground engaging implements and when over load it will raise the implement thru the tough area and then lower when it senses the load lighten.

Thank you for enlightening me. I clearly misunderstood what somebody had shared with me as I thought draft control was for adjusting the depth level of a three point but when off, it would allow float.

Depends on Material Size but we sell Massey Ferguson and Rhino Rotary Cutters and they recommend from 50 PTO HP (for 1.5" or 2" Diameter Material Capacity) to 70 PTO HP (for 5" Diameter Material Capacity) Batwing 15' Cutters. 4610 is 80 PTO HP so you have plenty of Horsepower.
