Managed to lose a clevis link from my tire chains. I'll put it back together with a screw-together link. I should hunt down some spare clevises.
Don't worry, you will find it in the spring. The first time you mow.

Gary, I think team Canada took all the wind out of the USA team's sails. Canada's strategy worked perfectly. I wish them luck in their Gold Medal game with Sweden tomorrow.
Jim, I think the o'possums from down under have a lot more fur than ours in the southern USA. Ours look like a raccoon with mange. The iconic photo or drawing of them is in a persimmon tree in the fall when the persimmon crop is huge. I don't know what percentage of their diet is persimmons or other fruits/nuts, but certainly they have to eat something in the winter if they don't hibernate. Perhaps they store away acorns and nuts in hollow trees and winter over there.
Dang Roy,you gotta start slowing down little before you damage more of your body.
Yeah...you know I'm one of those "Hardy New Englanders"...even if I am a transplant from the mid-Atlantic area.
I must admit, this winter has been tough on this old man... But recall that Friedrich Nietzsche quote "That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
Good afternoon folks!
I am amazed to say it is a beautiful day here in Scotland with bright sun and something resembling warmth!!
This is the first time in my life that I have ever seen the lawn getting long enough to need mowed in February. I would go out and mow today but we are going to be moving home in a week or two so there is no point - that and I currently don't have a gas mower (just an old electric).
Have a good Sunday everybody and I hope you are all well.
