Thanks yeah maybe the Height is what I need. no rocks. I have been cutting down weak shallow rooted Manzanita and intend to pull out the stumps. I can cut them low. But a few extra inches may be a huge thing on the hill where the manzanita is.

I'm sure either one would be fine. I know that I never feel like the B2320 is too big even when mowing the lawn. I had to make the same choice and went with the B2320 for the higher ground clearance especially for the snowplowing and taking it into the woods.
A few people around here use BX's to clear driveways and it seems like they do a fine job.

I don't know if you have already purchased, but since there is a post from today, I assume the decision is still active. From the concerns and comments you expressed, IMO I think you will be happier with the B2320. The B2320 does have HST and a 3 range transmission (gear is also available on this model). Also, the tires on the B2320 are slightly smaller than the other series in this size (B2620 and B2920) so I think this also satisfies some of your size concerns. I think the stability will be fine and if you want to increase that you can always install wheel spacers in the future. Also, No hydro fan on these B's to think about which is a concern for some.
Best of luck in your purchase.

The Bxx20's all come with the same size R4.

Since the stat sheet shows only the R1-Ags, everyone tends to assume the B2320 comes with smaller tires. It doesn't. Only in the Ag R1 which not that many people actually buy on these CUT tractors.

Be mindful of the poison oak in your neck of the woods!

No doubt... the BX will do everything.

If you will not be mowing and don't need a hoe... go for the B series.

The larger tires will help with ground clearance.

Right now I have a Deere 110 and BX23... I use the BX 10 hours for each hour I use the Deere 110.

I also had a basement excavation and the BX really made the job fun... it was just the right size to get in the tight spots...

I go with the one best for your jobs...

If you don't plan on lawn mowing with the tractor, I can't think of a single reason to get a BX over a B (I have owned both.)

I have pushed over 20'' of snow with the BX and a rear blade. I think a B series would be better for snow removal with the 3 range hydro. The B series is a larger more robust tractor than a BX. I would go with at least a B2620 since it has a stronger loader.

I stand corrected.
I went and looked it up in whole goods catalog and you are correct that the r4's are the same size, as well as the turfs, on the B 2320 as pointed out. I had a B2920 and I was sure when looking at them the B2320 sat smaller with R4's but I was wrong and do not want to misspeak on specs!

It's like with the B3300SU which has larger R4's than the B3200 R4's, but the R1's and Turfs are smaller and the same size for either the B3200 or the B3300SU. However, I see on the new B3350SU you can option the larger R4's or the smaller R4's as on the B3200 (according to the Kubota whole goods catalog)
Anyway, for what the op described and how he expressed his concerns in his initial post, IMO he would be less likely to second guess his decision if he went with the B2320. Nothing against BX's!

Get the B2320, however if price difference is not much and you can afford it, get B2620 or B2920.

well I opted for the B2320 should be here Saturday.
I really liked the idea of the tight turning on my small 2 acre lot with the Bx but in the end the height which was my initial concern with the B2320 is probably what I need and since its able to do the rest of what I want too I opted for that. Over the life of it , it will probably plow snow 4 times a year , help finish grade my circle driveway. Cut out Manzanita ( no poison oak here luckily )
Plowing and helping build a fence plus help out the neighbors
I am sure it will more than pay for itself since I won't have to pay someone to do everything I want to do.
