so when you do your worst case scenarios, there's a labor number. Hmmm. About the same as that fancy new adapter.
Not if you can weld...and I needed a good reason to start.
If you were to ask me (and I realize no one did) everyone that owns a tractor should also own and know how to use a welder. They are not that expensive, and it ain't that hard to learn.

well assume I did ask you Jim and yes I sure agree with you. It's why a nice new welder has been in my garage for a year. Bought it and then my arm went bad. Well that's fixed now, luckily not with a welder...

I sure hope not...but i have about four different kinds of pads and protectors for it. I squashed my ulnar nerve (on the desks over forty years?)
and now I have to protect it. but a little foam will do. We'll save the sparky stuff for later.

You are disappointed with the quick hitch because the implements are not built to industry standard specifications?

I bought the CAT 2 quick hitch from Tractor Supply and found that the only implement that it fits is Bush Hog 3 point cutter even though the Hay King Pasture renovator and other items are supposed to be "QH Compatible". The clevis ears on the renovator were about 1/2" too narrow for the QH. Everything else was off even more. Took the QH back to TSC.
Have a set of the CAT 1 Delta Hook on Kubota B2710 with receiver plates on box blade, rotary cutter, disc. I can hook up or drop them in a few seconds. Add about 30 seconds to hook up PTO on cutter. Having the hydraulic upper link from Fit-Rite makes it even easier and faster.
I am seriously considering biting the $$$$ bullet and buying a set of CAT 2 Delta Hook plates. The Delta Hook receiver plates have significant adjustment for varying width lower pins or clevis'.
