I have a QH that sits in my garage, it does make attaching implements easier, but you lose range on blades angle, if ur using a ballast or carry all type of implements they werk well, to bad they don't make a QH for the QH, lol, right now it takes 10-15 mins with the telescopic lower arms.

Say what you will. I love my JD iMatch hitch on my Kubota. Handy as a pocket in a shirt.

Yes you will have to modify some implements if they aren't quick hitch compatible. That's how it goes.

It is odd the Kubota weight box is not quick hitch compatiable.

PapaP,

What you say is the same as what I say with my HF QH, as long as you can and do modify your existing implements to fit the QH measurements/specs, it is a true labor and time saver.

I was able to modify my "Kubota " ballast box without welding by bolting on some loadbearing wings to hold the lift pins and moving the top center pin tp allow the QH access.

The reason I used quotes around the Kubota is that while I bought my ballast box as OEM equipment from my local Kubota dealer, it was NOT made by Kubota, even those it has Kubota brand stickers on it.

On closer look, it has another set of stickers that identified it as made in Canada by some other company, likely the reason it doesn't meet the "official" specifications standards. (not the made in CA part, the not OEM part).

Brian and Ovrszd have it right as usual, if you make your implements fit your QH, you'll find it is invaluable.

I hooked up my LP BB this morning. The most time was spent coupling the hydraulic hoses for the scarifiers. I picked up the scarifier without getting out of the tractor seat in 30 seconds or less. :)

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

that's sure what I want...and if you have a big hydraulic bb, that sure isn't easy to horse around, must weigh over 1000 pounds, so having a QH must be super.
I'll take a little Super.

I have a Speeco CAT II hitch and wouldn't go without. Combined with TNT it makes hooking up a breeze. I did have to grind a little on the land pride rake to make it fit but everything else I own hooks up sweet. Cat II implements are heavy and I can't budge any of them so for me it's the only way to go. Regardless of how an implement settles in the soil, I can grab it with the QH.

One of my first criteria when buying an implement is to make sure it's QH compatible. Heck I know one farmer who hates changing implements so bad he practically owns a different tractor for each one!

now what a fine idea!
How can you have too many tractors? :dance1:

Just have to have the right attitude...
but even with good attitude, I can't move a 1000 pound mower by myself. Not any more.
