AGAIN you are wrong: ?..EPA has Banned most stoves as they are built today.
…...but the fact remains the EPA is strong arming existing wood stove manufactures and will force many of the small stove makers to go out of business as they could not afford the tens of thousands of dollars it costs to "test and prove their stoves make the cut."
This is silly. EPA Banned manufacture and sale of non-conforming stoves in 1990, a generation ago.
Stove manufacturers have adjusted since 1990, and I bet you ANYTHING, are all more profitable now to the point where none of them bat an eye over $20K. They came out OK. New-Stove-Buying citizens paid the bill (probably against their preferences) but the USA got cleaner air in return.
Same as they banned sale of cars, unless the car meets certain emission standards. You can't say cars are banned.
Woodstoves are not banned, they are available everywhere. Cars too. You are aware of this, right?
Pretty much EVERYONE is telling you the same thing it is time to admit you were wrong in defending them in this.
Not wrong. A few folks (who can't possibly be that gullible) seem to have an ulterior motive. Probably as you infer, digging in their heels to give the message "as long as the 2nd amendment is on the table, I'm gonna oppose the EPA".
Which I suppose you can do, it's (still) a free country. But it's deceitful. Or could be called BS.
From the same dictionary,
bull·**** (bo͝ol′shĭt′) Vulgar Slang
n.
1. Foolish, deceitful, or boastful language.
2. Something worthless, deceptive, or insincere.
3. Insolent talk or behavior.
