New Truck

He didn't buy a Dodge. He bought a GMC.

That doesn't' stop them. They just keep repeating it no matter what the subject of the thread it is. You even notice he repeats the same thing from post 17 to post 20 as well eve after you pointed out that this thread had nothing to do with Dodge truck.

Your right it is getting ridiculous..........they watch for any opportunity to slag Dodge trucks (and GMs too now) and ussually with unsubstantiated comments.
But I am starting to feel sorry for them, they obviously have an inferiority complex and need to lash out as a way to compensate.

After years of avoiding pickup trucks, I finally had a forehead smacking experience two weeks ago. Since we had a baby, my wife has taken over my Acura MDX SUV. It tows well and can swallow 10' lumber with the hatch closed, but has become less and less usable for me as we've added a baby seat and other doodads and baby gear. While picking up some rental equipment, I had a heck of a time getting stuff in with all the baby gear in the way. Then to pickup some light lumber, I had to hitch up my 7x16 trailer, which was ridiculous overkill. With a lot of projects on the horizon, I finally decided enough was enough and started shopping for trucks.

Great looking truck. The new GM trucks are growing on me the more I see them.

I had a '14 for around 4 days due to some minor warranty work on my '13...I really liked it even though it was a 6 banger 4x4..Ran very well and got around 22 generally. The interior experience is far different as some have said and I also found it very comfortable. I like that I sat lower in the 14 than my 13 and it seemed spacious even for an x-cab (whatever they call it now)...It wasn't a "true" 4 door.

I thought about buying that loaner for my wife, but I'd have to talk her out of her Hummer. Doubt that would happen. She liked the truck but not that much.:confused3:

Just crossed 4000 miles with a 19.2mpg average. Truck is doing great and no problems at all. Been hauling a lot of building materials lately and glad to have the longer bed and V8. Last week, I pulled an electrician's van out of mud (sunk to the floorboards) at a building site down the street and glad I got 4x4!

19.2 is very good. That's a full mpg higher than my Ecoboost, its average is 18.3. It's a Super Crew FX4 with 3.73 gears.

Have you hand calculated a few tanks to verify the dash? My ford is never off more than .2 mpg, so it's very accurate.

I purchased a used 2012 Silverado at the end of August the average on the display is sitting a 16.5 after I put on around 5000 miles. Which is within a couple of tenths of what I have been hand calculating.
