Well he is still alive. But yesterday he was real close to getting it.
Left a 12 pack of T-Paper where he could get it. Out of 12 rolls, I could find 9, somewhat mangled rolls.

Little Brat did a good job of doctoring. Not even a scar where he had an 1.5" rip in his skin.

Puppy love is still in bloom, with a couple of wrinkles. Little Brat is pretty much in charge when she wants to be. If she is guarding a bone or something, he best stay away. He got too close twice & had to leave in a hurry. Good thing he is faster than her, for his sake.
His new thing is to put her whole head or neck in his mouth, & gently hold on. Plus the nibbles on her back,, ears & even her nose.
She has set him down a time or 2 by grabbing his hind leg & taking it out from under him.

Good points of all 3 dogs is that they are not face kissers, bark very little, unless there is a good reason

He loves on Bobby (Nibbles on her back), she tolerates it with a low warning growl.

More later if he lives.

1 Normal dog out of 3. Mother Bobby is about as close to normal as it gets.

Little Brat has many, many quirks. She is a 1 man dog, she can not be hand fed steak, as no one can get that close. Even people that fed for a few days at a time still can not get close. She will not go up or down the metal stairs out back. Instead she runs all the way down the ramp & around. At times she will not get close to me if she thinks I am mad at her. When she eats she gets a mouth full of chunks, takes them out side & eats them 1 at a time.

Little Boy ( Should have named him Turd - Jughead or something similar.)
I lured him down the metal stairs with a hot dog. Now he charges of them full tilt, some times slips, but does not let tha slow him down. But he will not come up them.
Goes around them, under the ramp & jumps up about 3 feet to come back. Will not get in the pick up to ride. Runs right up to the door & then goes away. Doesn't care about back scratches, wants his chest & under his jaw rubbed. When he thinks he is in trouble, he lays that rock of a head in my lap & sure knows how to look sad. When I go out e comes up the ramp about 30 miles an hour & slides to a stop. Usually with me the stopping block.
I think he is younger than the jailers though. His teeth are still maturing. he has really put on weight, & its not fat, he runs a lot & other fun things. He is curious about every thing & naturally tests it with his teeth.

He & Brat could be taught to do tricks & stuff, were it not for their fears. Both have demonstrated their ability to walk on their hind legs. Had Brat sit up a few times, but fear of falling back wards keeps her from staying there.

More later - if he lives. :D

Watch in the 3 of them sure has been entertaining & enlightening

I have always been able to mostly work out behavioral issues in my dogs and I have almost always taken in strays. At least to the point the issues are not destructive or a bother. They key to me is patience, not "forcing" a change in behavior and rewarding the actions I expect.

Had a good chuckle yesterday.
Little Boy as pretty normal was in the way of where Bobby wanted to go.
Instead of going around him, she ducked her head slightly & run under him.
One of the cutest things I have seen in a long time.

More fun watching the Puppy Love.
Little Brat likes to stand her ground, Little Boy charges at her, then changes direction at the last minuet.
Well Brat was on the ramp, Little Boy was up (well almost) to his tricks.
It was the first time I had a clear view of her posture. Head down slightly & front legs spread, like a bull getting ready to charge.
He had no place to go with her on the ramp, he knew what she meant & just laid down.

Almost daily I learn something new & Bad Boy (new Name) learns something.

He had a cough that worried me. Learned he was allergic to "OFF".
Sprayed the deck, when he came back, very soon he started to cough & almost gag.

He has learned to be slow & gentle when being hand fed. For a while I had bruises where he hit me with his teeth.
They get a special treat almost every day. Now they don't always appreciate some of them. As in "food for the Gods". As in Burnt Offerings.

Bad Boy finds some kind of new mischief just about every day. Today it was cutting some small branches off my Purple Leaf Plumb tree. Id did save me the trouble.

I guess I expect too much too soon.
Little Boy is different than any dog I have ever run across. On 1 hand he can be brave & daring & on the other a complete coward.
Though he was going to get in the truck with me today. When I got in he came running ( how he goes most places) up put his feet in my lap & gave me his version of a kiss. Think if he could have climbed over me he would have gotten in.
He sort of knows not to go out the gate if it is opened. Goes out as far as I go or runs around the truck

Little brat is getting better at walking on her hind legs, a step or 2 on her way to get close & petted. Then Little boy gets on his hind legs & wants to use Brat for support, which knocks her down.

Life is fun if you ( I ) don't weaken.
Can't take any pictures as the camera quit working.

More progress for "Little Boy".
Since being shot, he has figured out not everyone is a friend. Was ready to attack a FedEx driver & a sheriffs deputy.

A few days ago He was playing with a Twig Girdler, a bug with 1 he!! of a bite. The bug cuts a circle in tree branches about 1/8" deep, then drills a hole to lay eggs in. LB would pick it up & toss it, then swat at with a paw, find it again & start over.

He got into the truck all on his own. Didn't stay long, but a big step from running away when I opened the door.

He still thinks he is a lap dog or little puppy. Filling up my little red wagon with fire wood, He put a big old paw on both shoulders from behind. Then came around & tried to get in my lap.

Check out my thread "bad day at black rock' More information there.

Later,
Jim

So much fun.
Having a 120#+ dog gallop up to you skid almost to a stop, & then try to jump up into your arms. If I hadn't closed the door we would have both landed on thie deck. Little Boy is going to kill me with love.

Mother Bobby let him play with her & brat. Well for a little while & basically she told him no more.
He puts his big ole paws in my lap & gives me his version of kisses. Nibble on my neck, ear & sideburns. Not exactly fun, it sort of hurts.

At 120# Little Boy doesn't sound very little. But it sounds like you are having fun with him
