Back to siping and grooving....Don't forget the little knives have a sharpened side. If you forget this, and put them in backwards, they don't work so well. Somebody I know did this. :ashamed::confused2:

I call that a "Stupid Human" trick.. Mine was to plug in the cutter and immediately try to cut. I thought this thing is a piece of crap. Laid it down (plugged in) and read the directions that came with it. Clearly stated to allow a few minutes for it to heat up. Picked it back up and it worked like a champ. Sure glad I was in the shop by myself that day. :)

That's the same place someone I know discovered the little knives have a sharpened side. Go figure. In the directions. Whoodathunkit?

"..and read the directions that came with it."

One of the most annoying acronyms I have ever encountered, I heard first in the Army, and then later in work: "RTFM". I think it translates roughly to "Please read the manual." :)

Read The Fine Manual..:D

In the early 70s the Army started a campaign to get Soldiers to read the manuals more. The FMs were cartoon drawn. They added two busty women in tight clothes, one white girl with long blonde hair, one black woman with a huge Afro. Soldiers started reading the Manuals just to check out the babes. I've got an FM for the M-16A1 rifle that I picked up in Vietnam, complete with the women pics. With Soldiers you gotta speak a language they understand!!!

Well, back to topic...

The other night I borrowed my neighbors tire groover (thanks KenB2920) ... And grooved the tires on my Massey. Soooo easy! I think I had the whole thing done in under 1.5hrs.

What did you do with all the "worms"?.. When I did my old Kubota, I looked at them and thought they should be good for something, but I couldn't think of a thing to use them for, so I threw them in the trash.

Nothing yet... maybe I'll melt them and mold then into something....
