cab tractor hands down I did not even get wet !!!!! wet slushy crap northeast!!!!

None of my tractors have cabs, but I bought a yard plow truck from my dad. The heat and radio are nice for tough plowing. I have to go out plowing, so when I get home, it is nice to clean up the yard fast.

Tcreeley - I looked at the heater from Curtis - $500+ so I opted to try without and in 20F I was very surprised how warm I was - I mean I wear a T-shirt + sweatshirt and would not want it anymore warmer - in my estimation the heaters are way over priced and for what you get I do not see much return. I look back at the years I Carharted-up and braved the 10F's at night - now I play my tunes (ear muff radio) and lovin life.

DABSGT - Sorry to hear about your experience - with all the nuts and bolts that this thing is put together I would not think it would be 100% water tight but of course it should not pool water either - I have my tractor in a barn and only use it during the winter - for what I wanted it for which was wind and snow I think it is the bomb - if I was using it in a driving rain I too would think there would be some egress.

Over all I too find the Curtis Cab (and Sims) right up there in the high end of aftermarket cabs - I am very pleased.then again - I did not pay $$$$ for mine

With a warm cab they don't have to wear stockings or leg warmers under their skirts!

Mrs. and I stop by Kubota dealership today pick couple spare keys,Mrs. ask saleman how much for cab to fit tractor,price was reasonable but taking off for good weather use in woods would be pain..most years plow 12 to 15 snow storm,maybe next pickup will have plow setup.

If it makes phoenix94 feel better to call us *******, I don't care. After 18 years with Farmall H's & M's and WD Allis Chalmers to move the white stuff I really like my cab. It was the reason I bought my Kubota! I also got tired of getting the neighbor here with his bigger tractor because the drifts were so hard and deep, the old Farmalls and Allis had a h*ll of a time. By the time I got it moved I was frozen!

I used one of these when I built my cab. It provides plenty of heat and keeps the glass from fogging on the inside / icing up on the outside.

Mine is made by cozy cab. It is very heavy duty. All steel. It does not interfere with factory rops , added a 25 dollar truck stop heater to keep window defrosted. It's not the warmest but it stops all the wind and snow/rain. If it is sunny out it does get pretty warm but at night or over cast a heater plumed to cooling system with a fan would sure be nice. I plan to add one soon. Call me what u will but now that I have used this cab with or with out heat I don't care to be with out it. Hope u all can get one. Now if I could just get ac in it
