Those are starting to look like turf tires, isn't that strange.

Turf tires with the strength and durability and puncture resistance of R4s......
Or, not but the grooves do help in snow. Those are starting to look like turf tires, isn't that strange.
Has anyone used any tires like the BKT 461? Was thinking they would do much better in the snow than the standard R4 tires. I wanted more traction than a Turf tire would offer but didn't want the large lug of the 4R to tear up turf .So far the 461s have have GREAT on the turf ,not tearing or marring it. As much as don't want it to snow, I can't wait to try them(even though I have no gauge of the difference between them and the bald R4s that Came on the tractor) The goodyear 1/2 tread long bar short bars on the rear DO mar up turf pretty bad really bad on turns. Don't get me wrong the tires are Fully loaded, have dual weights and I also have a 1400lb weight box on the 3pt hitch. But even with 3000lbs hanging off the loader, the fronts do ZERO damage. Even if speeding around in turns the front don't tear up the turf
