Every time I see a new tractor I feel compelled to discuss this.

If you are going to use your tractor on anything but flat ground I suggest widening the track. You'll gain a tremendous amount of stability and it will ride better. Tractors are assembled and shipped in their narrowest setting for obvious reasons.

We moved the back out 2" on each side. Just that makes a noticeable difference.

They're actually shipped with the wheels removed.

Yeah probably. But the wheels are assembled in their narrowest or widest setting depending on how install. Very few buyers want them out all the way. And they look really stupid installed that way. So they get installed "in". Then the tractor is trucked to wherever the dealer is. The trucker doesn't want them out either. I don't think I've ever saw a new Kubota on a dealer lot in any other configuration that "all in".
