I agree it's a lot better with them set out wide and loading them improves everything as well.Every time I see a new tractor I feel compelled to discuss this.
If you are going to use your tractor on anything but flat ground I suggest widening the track. You'll gain a tremendous amount of stability and it will ride better. Tractors are assembled and shipped in their narrowest setting for obvious reasons.
