Not to mention having over 17 of the 27W lights! Awesome illumination, especially at 5 MPH travel speed. You could singe the vegetation.

It would also allow you to weld!

In a given set of circumstances maybe but I wouldn't.
I like over-building and that is why I like the harness but for the application it needs to be tamed down a little.

Once you see one of those harnesses you see how simple they are and easy to reproduce.

If anyone is happy with the harness as is, good luck, it works, it what you want... I would just look at the circuit and build or mod the circuit to the application.

Sorry if this confused anyone or caused someone to over think the harness, it appears to be a nice one.

I think it screams quality and the reviews are great. What's not to like? Just drop another fuse in.

I just finished the install!! to say I'm happy is a complete understatement. 2 27w lights are incredible and plenty for me. Pictures and details to follow later.... thanks to all

I have to say that the opt7 harness ended up being the perfect length for this tractor. The battery is all the way in the front of the tractor which made me nervous at first. I'm not the most capable at this stuff but it was pretty easy with some patience. I'm sure there are easier ways to wire these in but I wanted the lights to be separate so I didn't compromise anything. Loving the result and can't wait to add front lights somehow

I have LED lights on my tractor and I think I actually wired with 16 ga. However, I would not recommend going too light on the wire and risking voltage drop. My lights seem to be voltage sensitive. When I use my 12 volt winch that rotates the snowblower chute, the LED flood lights dim noticeably. If I have the normal headlights on they are not affected. On my system I have #10 wire from the battery to a switch box, #10 on to the winch and #16 to each of the lights.

Not surprising as the winch motor draws reasonably high amps when operating and the voltage drop shows up with your LEDs.
Leds are more voltage sensitive than filament bulbs.
