good morning all. What's that incredible brightness outside???oh, geez, there's snow out there....who would have thought. 20 degrees so not melting, but going up into forties today. I emailed my teenage helper next door and told him to hoof it over here today. I have him "on retainer" and he was just put on automatic snow duty. He'll have to find the snow shovels in the barn somewhere, a bunch of them still wrapped up in duct tape. Hey, won't need these right? yup yup nope

Buppies, thanks for the heads up. Looks like the coast will be spared but it's really close, they just took down the more severe warning and have changed the precip to sleet and rain, turning into rain with a high of 31 degrees. Sounds like ice, and worth just sitting out.
Of course first they said five inches here for last night, then one inch, and we got three. Well, it was the average....:confused3:

I'm headed to breakfast this morning and this time will put the truck in 4wd. Roads were still dry yesterday morning so this morning will sure do. Want to put it in low range too for a little bit on the driveway. I think it has a low range...
need to get all those gears turning;somehow I have a vision of a big gear half in the oil, and the top part getting rusty...needs a dunk.

That snow is natures way of telling you to have a sip of your favorite beverage, (coffee? tea?), ponder the beauty of the white blanket and then finish up things to do inside. Spring will come.

I worked on a Ford Pinto in '71.

I still think of how much money I had to pay to buy a cutting edge 486DX25 computer...it still hurts. I actually sold a perfectly good J24 sailboat to pay for it. Ouch.

Would have worked on my poor mom's earlier cars but I was too young and had no tools or knowledge. Prior she had a mid 50's Pontiac, Studebaker, then a Rambler Ambassador.
