They better come off a whole lot more then that! Especially on demo truck. If they won't move on the price of the truck, start working them on your trade in.

I agree, that's no deal. Especially on a truck that's not "perfect" for you.

Last truck I bought that was a model year old listed at $43,000 and I paid $28,000.

I wasn't clear. It is an extra $1500 Trade Assistance rebate. Hoping to get around $12,000 for my truck.

Oh ok, I figured that's what it was but you never know these days! They tried to lowball my mom a few years back until she called and asked me if she should take their offer on an extremely low mile car that they thought they could get for little or nothing and sell for double the price. No sir, I went with her the next day and the look on their face was priceless when they realized why I was there. All of a sudden they found another $8000 right off the bat.lol

Even if you get that extra $1500 make sure they still give you what you want for your truck. It sounds like they took $1500 off the $10,000 off sticker that most ford dealers are doing. I hate when they move rebates around like that cause it makes it hard to keep up with.

What package is that? XLT/Lariat/Fx4?

It looks like XLT+ but it says leather? I didn't know you could get leather in XLT.

I paid $34K + TTL for my '12 XLT Super Crew 4x4 EB with 3.55 gears and a 6.5' bed. The price you are getting seems high on a "used" truck. I did not have a trade and I financed through Ford (in the 3% range) for an extra $1k off sticker.

As far as I know warranty is 3yr/36K. I'm over 50K now. Besides, they didn't fix my rough idle the last time I took it in for warranty.

warranty will cover that if you still have warranty. My brother had a leather driers seat replaced on his '05 at under 60,000km

It is an XLT. They had an option to combine leather and the HID lights. It was explained to me that some were wanting leather, but not all the electronics and bells and whistles with the Lariat. That makes sense to me especially if you keep one past warranty, which I intend to do.

I don't typically air my business, but figure there may be something to gain in sharing some of this. I will be looking at rebates more today and plan to PLAINLY list everything on sheet of paper and send back to begin negotiating price. This I believe will help keep the numbers straight and not overlook anything. Kind of like resorting back to elementary math and learning to keep the math problem organized and neat to reduce chance for errors.

Trying to deal with dealer three states away on "demo" model proving to be a problem. Out of town dealer not willing to cooperate as he can move the truck without the hassle of transferring it.

Found this truck local. Only options not on it that were wanted will be Max Tow and 3.73 axle. Looking at tow charts, the 3.55 and 3.73 with 3.5 Ecoboost both rated for 9700 lbs until you add Max Tow to get to 11,300 lbs.

Have not. Was looking to take advantage of the big rebates on the 2014. Will give it a look. Little leery buying used without knowing history.
