FEL Quick Dump

Regen is a much better description than fast dump. It is only an advantage when you are handling heavy material in the bucket.

You might check and see if they removed the regen parts in the cans on the bottom of the valve.

Regen essentially re-routes the flow to the base end of the cyl and also shuts off the rod side port in the valve.

If you ***** enough, they will have to fix or replace the valve.

If you have a PB and regen in your valve, all cyl flow exits the OUT port.

However in regen, the rod end fluid is blocked and is sent to the base end, so no fluid is flowing through the OUT port when in regen. Go back to non regen mode and fluid now flows from the OUT port.

Remove the valve OUT hose and place in a bucket and test it.

If your dealer can't figure this out, then change dealers or insist they change the valve for another model.

My 115 loader on the 3016 coincides with Shift's assessment. There is no fast dump on mine either. Will have to let them check it out as well. Since it was this way from when I first got the tractor, my feeling was that this is "normal" since I had nothing to go by. According to JJ, something is off on this scv.

I would have thought the other way around. Are you saying it won't regen unless there is a heavy load in the bucket?

Regen is a valve function, and will cause the bucket to fast dump anytime.

There are times that regen is not recommended, and that is when lifting the front wheels off the ground using bucket curl.

What is the brand of valves used on Mahindra?

In fast dump, does it dump under power or are you saying when loaded it bypasses and allows fluid to free flow out faster?

I asked my dealer about this once... couldn't help but feel brushed off by the answer.

"I think they just use the same sticker on all the loader valves....."

Service manager passed this little piece of magic my way.... brush off, am I right?

On my 3016, if I can read the muddled casting correctly, it appears to be a "Cross" valve on this.

The far right position on the valve with regen, is the fast dump and will fast dump when it is selected.

NO load, full load, what ever, regen will dump fast or is supposed to.

ON some Kubota valves, the regen is in the first part of lever movement, and power dump is to the far right.

Power dump on the Mahindra is first half of lever movement to right.

Some loader valves do not have regen, but your manual should indicate whether it does or does not. This is a Cross loader valve.

Directional valve / control / manually-operated - 15 gpm, 3 000 psi | DV - Cross Manufacturing
