Nice. I'm surprised it weighs 1600# empty though.

How do you like the placement of the license plate? It seems like it would be easy to tear off there.

I haven't payed the Illinois tax yet, so, I have not gotten a plate yet.
I know I will not like the plate location.
1600 pounds, where did you get that from?

2990# GVWR - 1400# advertised payload = ~1600#

2990# is the typical un-braked single axle utility, from my experience anyway.

Nice trailer...My 6x12 single axle utility goes 1200# net. So not out of the ball park.

Tim, 1400 pounds payload is a crock of you know what I mean LOL
Take 3500 pounds and minus the trailer, 1600 pounds, that gives me 1900 pounds payload capacity.

Edit=I also don't think the trailer is 1600 pound either.

True, but that whole legality thing gets in the way...As long as nothing goes wrong, no one will bother you. I used to overload my 6x12 and never had a problem although they get tough to stop when at or over capacity...Just sayin.

Ya, I know, it will not get over loaded by me.
A John Deere X534 occasionally, and hopefully two quads.
I wanted a brake, but they wanted 275 bucks, I said "pound sand"

That is a good looking trailer. I'm not seeing the pic of the license plate location. Can you get a motorcycle plate for it? In VA trailers under 3k gross we can get a motorcycle size plate.

how can you list a gvwr less than the gawr on a single axle trailer that you know will have 10% tongue weight...
