It's not how much they are asking - but what they will take. Awful nice that you can drop off or pick up on Sundays for service, up to 9pm at night Mon-Fri.

The Tractor Guy was up front about who He is and what he represents. But there is an old saying TWT Time will tell. I have seen brands come in to this area and sell due to price and then a year or so later you can't find a dealer.
The USA is based on enterprise so If there Willing to take the chance they have that right I might not be right on this but buyer beware theres a latin phrase for this but I couldn't speall it either IMHO

Find out who makes them for cabelas. I am sure cabelas didnt just open up a tractor factor.

They look like they could be made by LS ?? But I am sure they cost more for the cabelas name.

***They are built in Korea by a company under the guidelines of Cabela's. They are priced right in line with
other comparable tractors in the industry, i.e. New Holland, Case, Kubota.

They are made by TYM and other than the loader, there is no difference from the TYM, so they're not really "under the guidelines of Cabela's." Cabela's is simply selling an already existing TYM product that they ordered with different paint, then sourced their own loader.

It's just a TYM with a funky paint job and a third-party loader. The problem is that they are pricing them inline with the big-name brands.

Cabelas is adding value by bringing a tractor into the Cabelas brand, providing service, and attachments made by woods. In other words, they are creating value by being able to sell packages where everything is sized right and works without the customer needing to become overly familiar with tracts and their accessories. In other words, Cabelas is doing a classic value add and I wish them well.

Any dealer should be able to service what they sell and build a package. Cabelas is doing nothing special.

My dealership experience shopping for tractors was so poor with one brand at several of their dealers, that I called their corporate mothership and had three two hour discussions with the regional sales manager on general sales professionalism.

I was in a position where I wanted their product, wished to pay for it with cash, and all they needed to do was be a guide and say yes.

One dealer? Idiots. Two dealers? Huh. Three dealers? Wow, that is a pattern of incompetence.

In the end, I went with a different brand. I defer further discussion on the importance of professionalism in sales to my discussion on the subject.

Interesting... My experience with the Kioti dealer trying to buy a power beyond sleeve was so bad I'll never grace their lot again.

$27 dollar part turned into a $61 charge back dispute still pending. They ordered it without clearing the additional shipping charge (which I tod them I wasn't interested in paying as I had no pressing need for the part), and then said the part itself had gone up in price - they notified me of this the day they charged my card, and didn't even give the amount on the voicemail. I had to find it via my card statement.

So then they claimed they would reverse the charge and that was a week ago.
