Got my new Titan grapple in and now I need to order two hydraulic hoses to run from the rear remotes to the grapple on my 2006 DK45S. I measured the distance needed with a garden hose so I could route it as I will the hydraulic hoses and then measure how long I need. I do have a few questions for those that have done this as I am new to this process.

What is the name of the connectors I need for the rear remotes? The hydraulic shop needs to know this to put the right connectors on the hoses.

I know the grapple hoses are 1/2" Flat Faced Parker Style hoses - but one is male and one is female. Do I need to ensure a specific hose gets hooked to a specific port on the rear of the tractor?

When I measured the length needed - I went from the rear remotes to the middle of the lift arms (to the front, in between the arms). Does this sound right? Came to 17 ft.

What PSI rating should I get for these hoses?

What is the approximate costs I should be paying - the local guy quoted me "about" $150 each hose - that is a tad over $300 for the pair - does this sound about right?

Sorry for the newbie questions - but my previous tractors are antiques and I have never dealt with this before.

PSI-3000 or better.
1/2 iso7241-1 connectors.
Measure from the front cross bar on the FEL to the rear connectors.

add a set of disconnects about 1/2 way under the loader also, so you can remove the loader without having to totally remove all attachment points of the hose kit. i didnt do this originally, and when i needed to remove loader to mow field it was a real PITA. _MG_4950.jpg plow hose.jpg IMG_20150318_141633366.jpg

Hmm - in looking at your pic I see you have your lines terminating to some sort of a plate with the quick connects mounted to that. My layman's idea was just to run the hoses to the front and connect them directly to the grapple hoses - is that wrong?

Also - I got a call back from the hydraulic shop and they said for two hoses, with appropriate male connectors on one end to attach to the rear remote and a male/female to connect to the grapple hoses, at 17 feet, would cost me over $500.00! Maybe I am naïve but that sounds a little steep for two hoses - that is almost the cost of the brand new grapple! Am I off base here or does that sound right? If it is right, I may have to sell my grapple as it won't do me any good sitting around.

You can buy a hose kit from MIE for a lot less than that. Error this link does work.
