The come back of the year award !
Yeah, I realize he took my post in a way I really didn't intend.
They call golf "a game for life". As you get older, you just tee it forward, play from the gold tees. For some of us folks, it can be a wonderful few hours of enjoyment with some friends on a nice day. But, if you've never had any good instruction or coaching, it certainly can be just be a terribly frustrating exercise in futility.
Just some brief instructions on the proper grip of the club, how to swing, etc., can get you where you are playing a round halfway decent, and it can become a great way "relax" and "let it go". It's not for everyone though. It can be just the opposite for folks who take it too seriously, or are real competitive.
