Hello,

I am looking to get my first tractor. I have 17 acres. About 1 acre of lawn, 5 acres of grown up farm field, 5 acres of wood, etc.... Looking to mow, take care of snow, bush hog overgrown stuff, etc... Looking to see how you like it if you have one and what you got for a price. I got a quote for $20,170. Includes loader, 54" mower, and loaded tires. Does this sound about right or have you done better? The discounts include a $700 no finacining, and 750 off when getting 2 implements (loader/mower).

Thanks,

-Luke

They are still a bit rare, so you may not get many replies. But many people here own the previous model (B2620/2920) and it has a very good reputation. I had a B2920 and it was a great little tractor. I'd expect the B2601 to be even better due to some nice new features.

I got the following quote
B2601 HST w/LA434 ldr and Quick Attach 54" bucket - $17,800 (Subtract $700 for cash) so $17,100
Subtract $750 from any additional implement bought (I.E. could get a box scrapper for $599 and get $750 bringing the cost of the tractor down by another $150)

Regards
Russell

If I am reading it correctly, the common things we got quoted on:

B2601, LA434 loader with quick attach bucket, and loaded tires (the place I got quoted do this on all their tractors as part of price)

Ignoring all of the CIR/Rebates your price:
$15,090 + $3100 + $500 + $130 = $18820

My quote for the above was: $17,800

That's a good price. I went with the 5 year, no interest loan over the cash discount. Anyway I have only had my B2601 for one week now, but in the short time I've had it, I don't have any complaints. Haven't used the bucket yet, just the pallet forks. Soon as I get the Piranha tooth bar for the bucket, I'll be using it more. From the description of your property, the B2601 should work out fine, maybe even go with the slightly bigger B2650. You need to also think about what you are going to use for ballast, I'm going with the CountyLine three point "Carry All" from Tractor Supply for now.

Hey guys,

Its hard to compare sometimes since we all get different options. You should expect about 10% below retail as shown on buildmykubota and thats a good fair price and nothing to haggle about.

I have had my b2601 machine for few days now, with FEL w/ 3rd function and BH w/ thumb and loaded tires. I really like it, but had a few dealer assembly issues I had to work out, no big deal.

Could you guys please help me with one thing. My 3pt hitch position control does not start to raise until it is position #4 and then its fine. It seems to go all the way up and down but looks like I am losing some resolution. Followed the linkage and does not seem to be any obvious adjustments other than two nuts (one looks like a locknut) where the shaft enters the transmission. My dealer and me decided to research a bit before messing with it, since this is not an assembly issue. Obviously, my dealer didn't have a clue.

Thanks
Can you guys test yours out and let me know if you having same issue or not?
