I think the state of Oklahoma may need to install pontoons if this rain doesn't stop soon!

TULSA, Oklahoma - With a week still to go, the Oklahoma MESONET reports May 2015 is already the wettest month in Oklahoma history.

The MESONET says as of Sunday afternoon the statewide average for May stood at 12.29" of rainfall, which is 8.61" above normal.

Got 3in. last night. Can't even walk in the fields without sinking. Have one field that now has running water through it and I doubt if I'll be able to get into it for two weeks even if it doesn't rain a drop from now till then. I think my rye grass is lost if I cant get into the fields within a week.

Most of us in Texas should've planted rice this year, followed up next spring with a crawdad crop. :)

2 inches of rain last night after several inches during the week. All this rain and mud has me wondering if anybody will be able to cut hay anytime soon. What happens if it goes too long? Do you lose anything or is the hay affected if it's not cut for a month or more longer then normal? If everybody is having to wait, will that mean the price of hay will go up? or will it drop because once it's cut, there is going to be a lot of it out there?
