Dad bailing on one of his share farms. I have to take bailer over to him so I'll try to remember to look and see if our bailer has grass in the rollers.

Foreman, thanks for the pics. That helped me understand a lot. I have a similar problem on the NH BR740, but it is on one of the sledge rollers. It does not seem to make the bearing hot, but the surface of the roller is too hot to keep your hand on after 10 bales. Hay is getting down under the roller. I cleaned it out and after about 10 bales, it is back again. It might be okay but still makes me nervous.

Hay season this year has been crazy. I still have one field of first cutting to get done. Killed the pickup on the baler which cost me a grand and a lot of bad words. Check your pickup clutch more often than you think you have to. I just ordered a new Krone tedder. My old tedder needs constant life support.

Hopefully this heat wave will move out and weather patterns get a little more predictable. Good luck to all.

Pictures are way better then me trying to explain lol.

Last year when I looked at Tedders I decided to go with the Sitrex 4 basket, the price was same as the Krone 2 basket nearly.

We cut a few more acres down yesterday evening into dark but calling for rain Saturday and next week so once I get that hay up and all bales put up,I'm switching to the cattle pastures mowing and spraying.

Foreman I looked at our bailer before taking it to dad. It had hay in the same place. But I haven't ever noticed it giving any trouble. One side had hay the other didn't. Side with hay looked to be the same side as you.

Talked with a guy the other day with a 505M. He was having trouble as his monitor quit talking to his bailer. Turns out there are a couple of relays under the twine storage. Between it and tongue. One of them had gone bad. Iowa told him to replace both but that's where his problem was. Bailer was working fine after fix. Had about 700 bales on it. I know that's not what's been giving you fits but I didn't even know that they were there. Our bailer also has them. Just something to keep in mind.

I did that raking once. I didn't know the field and found a pond drain that had been cut over level. Tractor was on axle when bailer made next round.

I am impressed with it so far, if the weather allows it, we are gonna cut 20 more acres this weekend. The Massey handles it great.
