Foreman, thanks for the pics. That helped me understand a lot. I have a similar problem on the NH BR740, but it is on one of the sledge rollers. It does not seem to make the bearing hot, but the surface of the roller is too hot to keep your hand on after 10 bales. Hay is getting down under the roller. I cleaned it out and after about 10 bales, it is back again. It might be okay but still makes me nervous.
Hay season this year has been crazy. I still have one field of first cutting to get done. Killed the pickup on the baler which cost me a grand and a lot of bad words. Check your pickup clutch more often than you think you have to. I just ordered a new Krone tedder. My old tedder needs constant life support.
