Matt sometimes you just have one those bad times and sounds like one got you. Last year I had one I believe it ended up raining 5 days on it then I had to wait several more for it to even get dry enough to get in pasture with tractor. I went and bought a new Tedder,to get the hay even baled so it wasn't setting on pasture for next cutting. I broke several belts on baler, talking about one that would make you almost sell everything:laughing:

Update on the baler, the grass is no longer packing into roller. After 75rolls there was just a few pieces in there nothing really took a sec to pull it out. I have noticed that my net will cover edge on the bale now those brackets are installed.

Brandi wasn't bad parts it was the lack of parts on it from the start.

Finally got my first cutting done on everything 383 rolls.

Sure is nice when things just work like there supposed to isn't it?
I'm the type that gets everything prepped and ready before I need it, so if something doesn't work I get really &*^%$^&. I'm sure you get the point.
Hay looks great.

Thats great news, sounds like I need to do this little upgrade. Do you have a part# for the upgrade kit? I know my baler tends to leave the edges exposed a couple inches too.

Ive got a ratty looking belt that looks like it could break soon due to what appears to be rubbing the belt guide at the top of the baler. Do you disengage your PTO when ejecting a bale? I know you're not suppose to have to but I've noticed my belts may or may not stop rotating when ejecting. Those alligator splices are still looking great though .

I finally got some hay off over the fourth of July weekend. Its been so wet here until last week. I hear its worse in Indiana. Yields are good but its a late cutting too. The haybine (NH 469) worked good though and with a new knife I could cut in 3rd gear. The baler (NH 273 hayliner) did a decent job overall but for awhile it was missing a tie on about every 5th or 6th bale. Sprayed some PB blaster on the bill hooks and it straightened out and did a good job without a miss. Warm and sunny from Thursday to Monday (yesterday) the best weather so far for working on my hay.

I will get the part#s for you. No I don't have to turn pto off my belts stop turn once the door is open so much. I'm going to bump my density up some more looks like since got the gators on the splices are going to be okay.
