This is what I did. Works for me. As you can see. It uses a pin to attach and while I could just rotate it and leave it in place I choose to put it in my tounge box where I store my chains and boomers. <img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/files/trailers-transportation/442112-best-way-support-rear-trailer-tmp_15685-2015-09-26-15-a"/>

FYI
I have seen the back of the trailer bend when only using one support in the middle like that if the load is heavy.

I welded jacks onto the rear of my equipment trailer:

I use jack stands but I like this idea

I've seen trailers bend in the middle because jacks were welded on the outside frame. The best thing is place blocks or jack stands under the trailer where the ramps are placed.

I welded perforated square steel tubing to each rear corner, and welded a foot on a second piece the next size down, so they slide in and out with 1" adjustment increments.
I think they're 1.25 and 1.0 inch. Push a clipped hitch pin through. They handle by BX24 fully loaded with no problem. Leave a two inch gap to the ground when setting them down.

I have tried Jack stands, scissor jack, bottle jack and 6 x 6 blocks. I load and unload several times a day and I have decided that blocks are best since they are cheap and fast. I attach a 2 x 4 to the side and store it in the stake pocket.

Awesome.
