Box blade will not completely lower

I'd have to look at mine on a CK30hst but it almost looks like the lift arms for implements are on backwards. The hydraulic arms off the tractor case are angled down all the way as they should be for full travel but the vertical connecting links are angled way to much to the rear and should be more vertical.

you have 4 connections backwards (2 on each side)
just swap your connection points and all should be good.

the bars / turnbuckles are all good. just you have them connected in the wrong holes in the lower lift arms.

swaping them around should also tighen up the "sway bar/chain" on each side as well.

Tractor Attachments And Skid Steer Attachments For Any Tractor Or Skid Steer = good amount of videos / detailed description of stuff. suggest taking a watch / read over a few of the videos on various box blades and like. that should cover the basics of a box blade setup.

I'll 2nd this. The draft links are on the machine backwards by the looks of things. The turn buckles should be nearly vertical through the entire range of motion and they look severely kicked out to the rear. Alsl, I'll second or third the comments about the top link being way to long. Crank it in a bit. The box should be just out of level front to back depending on what you are doing with the blade.

I see what you mean. The turnbuckles should be in the holes the lift links are in and the lift links should be in the holes the turnbuckles are in... Yeah that should solve both problems. Good catch.

That's what I said in post #7.

Hi all,
I have not used my box blade but was getting everything ready to start today. After getting everything connected I noticed that the blade would not lower completely. I turned the hydrolic speed control to various settings but does not seem to make a difference. The height at full lowered is 21 inches.

This is a new tractor ck3510 and I m new this as well so hopefully it's just me doing something wrong;)

I would be very concerned about the dealer if this is how the 3 point was set up when you purchased it? Set it up as pictured in post 7 and then adjust top link and you should be good to go.

Sounds like this may solve your problem. If not, review Coyote Machine's post about draft control. If your model has it, this could be the problem. I have an NX, and one day could not lower my implement. Turns out I had inadvertently pulled up on the draft control lever, which sits alongside the lift-position control lever.

Well that is exactly how it came from the dealer. I have been curious if this was correct for a while but assumed that it came that way from the dealer... I have also had a few other "issues" since I took delivery in the last month...

I'll switch them around and try that. Just curious if anyone else has picturs s of their rear ends (tractor only please).

This is what yours should look like. Also shorten the top link so that the front cutting edge is just about 1/2" lower than the rear cutting edge for your work tomorrow.;)

Thanks for all the help. I'll switch things around and give it another go.
