5 ft rotary cutter choices

getting to the end of the season.. lotsa outdoor equipment is leaving lots or on sale.

bushhogs are on sale..i got a 62 for 1200 bucks...with slip pto brand new

Brand? Model?

Without knowing what it is, who knows if 1200 is a good price.

You can buy a brand new 5' cutter with clutch for under a grand. Dont mean its a good one

Isn't that alot of weight hanging off the back for that size of tractor ?

It will lift it but without the FEL on it is a little light in the front end. I did load the front tires and it helps a little.

727driver, I own / run a Woods BB60 with my 27 hp motor hydro-static drive tractor with zero problems at all. I have approx 22 hp at the pto. You should have no troubles with it. Greg

Yes...i should have closed this thread out after making my purchase ! I would rather have a smaller cutter and more reserve power at the pto than maxing out with a bigger cutter. Being we live in a National Forest, the smaller size works well getting around trees in keeping the trails clean. I got a good deal at $1200 !

WOW..The woods 4ft.brushbull sure have went up in price.I bought a brand new one 10 years ago for $600 bucks.
