No pictures of the truck as I don't own either...

I thought I would be buying the damaged 2003 and looks like they are going to keep it.

Only pointing out the new one would already be damaged except for that Nerf Bar...

Not having a smartphone leaves me photographically challenged.

From my understanding, X-Plan is very close (if not the same) price as the Friends and Family. However, the X-Plan limits doc fees to $99 whereas there is no limit on the F&F sale. If you don't have a dealer you truly trust, the X-Plan deal can be better as you know they aren't tacking on extra fees.

Is the X Plan worth it when buying a new pickup or is it about the same as Friends and Family promotion now offered?

So let me get this right... All you have to do is buy 1 share of Ford stock (F) at about $14/share to be eligible? Sounds easy, especially if one has a Scottrade account or other online broker account. Scottrade charges $7 per trade, so it would only cost about $21 to become eligible in the X-Plan.

Still kicking myself for selling the F stock too early. I bought it at a little over $1/share during the auto crisis.

Sounds like a lot of the problems people have are dealing with shady dealers.

Since you are in the Bay area, it wouldn't be too far for your brother to check with Sunrise Ford in Sacramento. Ask for Bobby Williams. He posts quite a bit at TheDieselStop and guys generally seem to be very happy with him.
