Guns are one of the things you could buy there, that will be worth more in 10 years than they are now.. What else that has been mentioned that you could say that about? Maybe the ammo..

I'd look at a Remington 870 combo or a Mossberg 500 combo (I'm still trying to choose).
A square-back canoe with trolling motor.
A Remington model 700 in 30-06.
Some good fishing waders (both summer and winter weight).
A new fly rod for steelhead.
A new spinning rod for salmon.
A new ice fishing shanty and some ice gear.
Some jerky. Gotta have some jerky. :licking:

Whatever you decide, do it fairly soon. Cabelas has been rumored to be purchased, possibly by Bass Pro. You can expect that their points policy may change, and will eventually expire, unlike their current policy. Maybe you can buy a bunch of gift cards and hang on to them until you decide what you want.
