The tractor weighs 3400 pounds. The loader weighs 1160 plus 360 for the bucket. I can't find a weight for the backhoe. The backhoe thumb, and subframe are about 2500. Total is 7400 pounds. We still haven't added the weight of the loaded tires or the grapple, or the grapple hydraulic kit.

You must weigh a couple grand too? Enough of this my tolerance for BS is much less now so i'm done.

You go look up the specs. We will reduce the backhoe to 2000 pounds. That still puts it in the 8k range. I guess you would haul it on a trailer with 2500 pound axels hooked to a S10. Should be good to go, right?

I didn't say the tractor was better because it is not. The b7100 is a pretty crude tractor. I said the transmission is better, and it isn't very good.

The trans isn't better at all! Remember I Owned one as well as many other Kubota tractors alongside JD/Massey/Ford/Case/International as well as others. Like others here who can see right threw your Bull _ I know you are now just full of it like the Harley owners down the street who still talk smack about anything that doesn't bear the HD name plate!

I don't know if all Kioti transmissions are as bad as the one I have tried. I honestly hope not. My B7100 transmission is pretty bad, and still better than the only Kioti I have used. I hope most Kioti transmissions are better. I would rather have a geared then the current Kioti, and I don't like geared transmissions. What was the rest of my Bull?

I didn't say you need to break traction every time you pull. The tractor does need to be able to break traction or else you can't put all of the power to the ground.

Want to run that by me again!?? If the tires are that easy to break loose you will never be able to put all the power to the ground to begin with. Me personally I would want to know that I could get most of the power to the ground and not waste my time spinning my expensive tires and wasting my time and money.
One of the reasons why the Kioti was so much more machine for me was that it didn't break the tires loose near as much or as easy as the Kubota which to me didn't sow a lack of power but a better weight and weight distribution balanced with the power.
I have had lots of machines over the years and the least productive ones were the ones that were too light to keep traction when the work got hard. Being able to spin the wheels loose easily isn't a sign of performance or power but rather a sign of poor design.

If you have two tractors both weigh 5,000. Both tractors have the same tires and weight distribution. If you chain up both tractors to a tree and slowly start pulling. One tractor pulls until it spins out. The other just sits there and whines. Which tractor pulled harder? Maximum pulling power was reached just before the wheels slipped, and the whining tractor never reached that point.

Both tractors can spin the tires at some point and both have the same rated HP but one tractor spins the tires very easy and the other usually bites in and gets traction which one wins the tug of war?
The biggest problem with your argument is that the Kubota is going to be the lightest machine MOST of the time when compared to its competition and that the way the relief valve lets loose on the ONE kioti you have test ridden isn't typical.

Obviously the one that gets traction. In the above figure there was no tug a war, just draw bar pull numbers. On the Kioti the loader seems fine. Is there a separate relief valve in the transmission?

Take a look at the Kubota L2501. Bigger frame but same hp so might be able to use the hp better than smaller tractors can.
