Is his a HST. I agree with the Kioti having a problem, but the dealer says it doesn't.
yes............although he tries not to.

Kioit, is stong tractor, but both HST & gear transmissions are its its downfall. Primitive.

The Grand is not a comparable weight machine. It weighs nearly double with the ballast on it. Breaking traction is desirable. The Kioti can't put it's power to the ground. It might as well be a 2000 pound tractor because then it could put its powerful to the ground.
I didn't say the tractor was better because it is not. The b7100 is a pretty crude tractor. I said the transmission is better, and it isn't very good.Having owned a B7100 myself many years ago this statement just made me spit my coffee all over the keyboard as I couldn't contain my laugh! I got rid of that machine within the month and replaced it with a FORD that was able to work circles around it!
I didn't say you need to break traction every time you pull. The tractor does need to be able to break traction or else you can't put all of the power to the ground.Knowing you have the power to break traction might be desirable but I don't see how breaking traction all the time would be desirable Even with my gear tractors I want to use all the power I have without breaking traction as I know that once the tires are spinning you are not making any forward progress and just wasting time/fuel and tire wear! Not to mention now you have to go back and fix the ruts you just made. One of the reasons I haven't gone back to Kubota is they tend to be light compared to other machines (at least in the size machines I looked at recently) and for me this means a lot. Yes I could load one up with ballast but again when I load up my Kioti with ballast it is still going to have more weight than the loaded up Kubota and still be more productive for my uses. So now my question has turned to why do you feel that spinning the tires loose all the time would be a good thing when most of the tractor world tries more so not to spin their wheels when working the tractor?
The Kubota weighs 3200-3800 pounds. The loader is heavier, the tires hold more fluid, the Kubota has a backhoe and subframe. The Kubota weighs around 8,000 pounds. The kioti has a very light duty bush hog that might weigh 400 pounds and much smaller loaded tires. It might weigh 5,000 pounds.
Why don't you go add up the weight for the loader (LA724), loaded R4 tires, a BH90 backhoe and subframe, and the tractor and get back to me. I also have a grapple which is about 200 pounds a heavier than the factory bucket. Anyone want to give me a good reason why I can't add in weight for implements? The tires are bigger. Go look at CK25 tires and L3240 tires. Kioti only gives one weight. That means any tractor not fully equipped weighs less. Its getting deep in here. time to put on my mud boots. 8000 lb 3240!! oh boy is it getting deep.
