I wonder how long before oiling is banned by the EPA?

If they can ban low temp windshield wiper fluid I guess anything is possible.

Have not heard anything about the EPA banning windshield washer fluid.
I bought 80 gallons of -20F WW fluid for tractor tire ballast 2 months ago ($1.50/gal. incl. tax)
Still need to get another 64 gal. for smaller tractor.

Not to mislead... it is a ban from the California Air Resources Board covering most of the State.

Fluid film is really good, and it's lanolin based not petroleum. I've been using Krown lately, seems a notch better than fluid film. Costs $125 I get it done every fall. Not uncommon to see vehicles here less than 5 years old with rust starting on the rocker panels, we drive in salt for almost half a year. My truck is 6 years old not a spot of rust.

I am going to SC tomorrow to help a motorcycle buddy out....I'll be spreading 40+ tons of gravel for him around his spread...I took the backhoe off and put my box blade on...

I agree... but some people need firewood more than boards. I've seen meny a nice saw log split and burned.

Myself, I don't burn wood, but still cut and split and store any blow-downs I come across. Lots of locust, I cull out the nice fence post sections, the nice straight poles that will be useful in building pole barns, and firewood the rest. I have about 5 full cords sitting here I could sell if the opertunity arises.
